Tristan is a recent transplant to Kansas City via New York City, where he spent the last decade founding and investing in early-stage technology ventures. In his role as Venture Partner at Flyover Capital, he helps the team source and diligence new investment deals and support portfolio companies.
Prior to Flyover, he was a Venture Partner at Warburg Serres (fka Animal Ventures), having led early-stage Blockchain and Web 3 investment strategies for Merck and AXA. He previously co-founded Want Me Get Me (acquired by Inside Hotels) and Skylark (now co-owned by American Express GBT).
Tristan has served on the Council of Experts for the U.S. State Department at the Global Entrepreneurship Summit hosted by President Obama, the Council of Judges for National Geographic’s World Legacy Awards, and Host Committees for several United Nations Summits. He currently serves as Senior Advisor to Co-Created with prehype, Venture Partner at Radian Capital, Advisor to Share Ventures, Senior Advisor to equity², Board Member at LUCI, and an advisor to early-stage ventures. He also occasionally lectures at The University of Texas at Austin, Princeton University, and New York University.
He received degrees in absentia from The University of Texas at Austin with a BS from the Moody College of Communication’s School of Advertising & Public Relations and a BFP from the McCombs School of Business.
Originally from Texas, Tristan enjoys long drives on country roads and hiking with his wife and their dog, Queso.
